Discover the Benefits of One Culture’s School Holiday Program Activities

One Culture’s School Holiday Programs (SHP) run in SA and NSW offer a range of carefully selected activities designed to challenge our participant’s abilities, foster skill development, and provide opportunities for fun and new friendships.

Throughout previously run activities, we have observed the tremendous positive impact of our SHPs, with participants showing growth in skills such as social interaction, teamwork, problem-solving and adaptability. We are committed to offering not only an enjoyable experience but personal and community development for those wishing to join us in the program.

While being a part of our SHP, participants have the chance to visit inclusive venues where they can be free to express themselves, they are encouraged to establish meaningful connections with our other participants as well as our dedicated staff members, who are available to provide support and assist in any situation that may arise.

SA’s SHP Coordinator, Seb, has observed that our activities have proven to be excellent team-building opportunities, as they encouraged participants to work together, fostering a supportive environment and understanding of each other’s abilities. For example, we often have to focus on the skill that it’s not about winning or losing, but about collaboration and inclusivity. Seb has witnessed first hand the growth of the participants that regularly attend our SHP and has loved seeing friendships flourish over time.

To enhance participant’s knowledge and expose them to new experiences, SA has now included the Aviation Museum and the Marine Discovery Centre into their SHP. Their upcoming program in July also aims to promote self-expression with an Art Day and by experiencing a Lego Exhibition, as well as including some crowd-favourite activities like Bounce, AFL Max and Ice Skating which always prove to be mentally stimulating and promote physical activity with our participants.

In NSW our SHP program includes lots of sporty action, from Ninja Warrior and Networld, to Gymnastics, Inflatable Bounce House, Trampolines and Basketball, there's something for everyone on the Central Coast.
