Schools can now access our Football 3 program — a structured, inclusive way to build teamwork, leadership and connection through sport.
What is Football 3?
Football 3 is an inclusive wellbeing program that uses football as a tool to build life skills, strengthen relationships, and support positive social outcomes for young people.
Unlike traditional football, Football 3 places equal importance on behaviour, communication and respect as it does on goals scored. The program is suitable for young people of all abilities, backgrounds and experience levels.
How Football 3 Works
Football 3 follows a simple but powerful three-part structure:
1. Pre-Game Discussion
Participants come together to:
Agree on shared values and rules
Discuss respect, inclusion and fair play
Set expectations for behaviour on and off the field
2. The Game
Modified rules encourage equal participation
Teams are mixed to promote inclusion and cooperation
Facilitators support positive communication and teamwork
3. Post-Game Reflection
After the game, participants:
Reflect on behaviour and teamwork
Discuss how values were demonstrated
Earn points not only for goals, but also for fair play and respect
This process encourages accountability, dialogue and shared responsibility.
