Kick Out Hate
Standing together through football — across South Australia
The Kick Out Hate Tournament is a powerful community event that brings young people together to champion respect, unity and inclusion. Delivered in two locations — Metro Adelaide and Regional South Australia — it creates safe, welcoming spaces where every young person can be part of something positive.
Metro Tournament — Futsal Park, Blair Athol
Our metro event at Futsal Park in Blair Athol brings together culturally diverse communities from across Adelaide. Players come from all backgrounds to take a stand against discrimination and show what football looks like when everyone has a voice. The indoor courts create a fast, energetic atmosphere where teamwork, respect and fun are at the heart of every match.
Regional Tournament — Mount Gambier
The regional edition in Mount Gambier gives young people living outside metro Adelaide the same opportunity to experience inclusive community sport. It’s a chance for regional families to come together, connect with others, celebrate cultural identity and send a strong message that inclusion belongs everywhere — not just in the city.
Football with purpose — promoting respect and belonging
Every Kick Out Hate Tournament uses the universal language of football to build understanding and challenge discrimination. Teams play in an environment grounded in fairness, teamwork and connection. The goal isn’t simply to win — it’s to show what happens when communities choose kindness, courage and unity.
More than a tournament, Kick Out Hate helps young people build communication skills, resilience and teamwork. Participants leave feeling proud of themselves and connected to others — outcomes strongly aligned with our community sport purpose of supporting confidence, connection and fun.
